We’re excited for the upcoming hockey tournament! To help things go smoothly, here’s a list of important details for players and parents. Please review everything carefully so our players are prepared, organized, and ready to focus on hockey (and a little fun, too). Thanks for helping the team stay on track and represent our club well both on and off the ice!
Clothing & Packing
Label Everything: Write names inside all casual and dress apparel — everything looks alike and is the same size.
Arrival Outfit: Players arrive at the rink in dress clothes (Black shirt, black slacks, baby blue tie)
Pack for the Day: Include joggers / shorts, t-shirts / hoodies, and tennis shoes in their hockey bag.
Extras: Bring extra socks and underwear — 2 games Friday + 2 games Saturday means lots of wet gear.
Freshen Up: Pack jock spray for morning and night use at the hotel.
Hotel Details
Room Assignments: Rooming list will be shared; players will likely find out their roommate on the bus.
Door Signs: Door cards will help players find each other; room numbers may also be shared in the group chat.
Amenities: Each room has a mini fridge and microwave; there’s also a snack shop in the hotel.
Pool Time: Pool available for downtime and card games in the evenings (especially Saturday).
At the Rink
Friday Schedule: Players at rink from 10:00am–8:00pm. Lunch and dinner delivered.
Team Snacks: Each team has a snack box (crackers, granola bars, fruit, cheese, nuts, bagels).
Drinks: Water and Gatorade provided. Bring LMNT or Liquid IV if preferred.
Extra Snacks: Pack additional snacks for the flight, hotel, or rink.
Bring a Backpack: Time available to work on homework between games.
Stay Responsible: Stick together, watch out for each other, and don’t leave gear behind.
Communication & Electronics
Phones at Night: Coaches collect phones overnight; returned at breakfast.
Alarms: Use in-room alarm clock or bring a portable travel alarm.
Group Chat: Used to share updates, locker room info, and coordinate meeting spots.
Health & Safety
First Aid: Coaches have a kit.
Extra Supplies: Amy Wallower bringing Advil, Tylenol, Tums, Pepto, cold meds, Emergen-C, allergy pills, melatonin, jock spray, foot spray, etc.
Games & Streaming
LiveBarn: Games available on LiveBarn (details TBD).
Player List: A list with jersey numbers will be shared so parents can track who’s on the ice and scoring.
